Came for Dine LA and the experience for either food or service was phenomenal! Even it’s the restaurant week and all tables are full while Angela was still attentive to make sure our food were great. Love to come back soon!

Visited during dinela and was pleased with short ribs, wine suggested and desert. Service was good without being overbearing.

Delicious! Completely unexpected to find such a refined restaurant in a strip mall off of Huntington Drive. Prompt and friendly service, good selection of entrees, and extremely fresh, quality ingredients. The dishes have a French influence. I had a grilled sole filet that was so perfectly cooked, everyone at the table wanted a bite of my dish. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my meal at Sesame Grill very much. Each course was well prepared, well presented and tasted great. I also have the pleasure of meeting one of the owners. It makes me happy too give my business to restaurant with such sweet and kind people.

Good food, good service & peaceful luncheon!

My 2 sons took me out to dinner to The Sesame Grill in Arcadia... This was the first time for myself and one of my sons, my youngest son had been there before and wanted us to try it... needless to say the restaurant was beautiful, very clean and very inviting. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant very highly if you are in the area.

Definitely worth the visit. I came for the dineLA special. Also can confirm that there are two menus. One being at 30 while the second menu tops out around 50...First course was very satisfying. The second course selection was about 6 to 7 (out of 10). Dessert was nothing out of the ordinary.Service was great asides from the new hires that did not know what they were doing. Owners however really know how to talk with guest.Nothing that insanely wowed me for another immediate visit but definitely worth trying once.

Asian run French place. Food was excellent, service was mediocre. It does get popular on holidays and special occasions so do make a reservation if you are coming on a day like that

This place was excellent. The menu was a variety of a 3 courses. Each course had a variety of great picks. Make a reservation before you come.

Service is ok. Dining environment is ok. Dishes are more like Hong Kong style cafe. I ordered lobster but it tastes too heavy to me. If you really want authentic American food, this is not good place to go.

If you are looking for good french style food and reasonable price, this is the place you must visit. They recently also introduced special business lunch menu that extend to 6pm. Price is between $8-10. You can't go wrong with that price. The quality of food is always excellent. My whole family have been going there for many years.

This place is good for trying American fusion food. It is an Asian American food restaurant. The decor is tacky but ambiance is good. The service very good on previous visit however during recent visit the service was just ok. The menu consist of different type of steak and pasta and salad. The food is not bad but not great either.

Outstanding Euro-American cuisines and value. Excellent Prix Fixe menu for quality and price. But on busy days such as around Christmas, it severely over-booked, under staffed, and did not know how to handle the crowd. Too bad I really think it deserves 5 stars but the problem with mishandling reservation is a serious shortcoming.

Decent dine LA experience. Dinner is $29.99 or 49.99 pricing and your choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert that they have. It's all pretty good in dining and the menu they provide is pretty good. We started off with the crab cake, and yellowfin tuna tartar. The crab meat was decent and the yellowfin was good with the potato chips they had to go with it. The entrees we ordered were the giant prawn with spinach over a creamy rice which is delicious and also the 36hour cooked short rib which wasn't too dry but it def fell off the bone. The desserts were a sweet creme brulee and a Panna cotta which was my favorite of it all. Didn't know this place was that good as service did a good job filling up water and bringing bread and making jokes.

The waiter poured wine for my 17 year old. He did not even card anyone nor asked who’s having wine. He just poured for everyone at the table. The food tasted average but the presentation was excellent. We felt rushed, the main course was served while we were still eating the appetizers. They gave ua the check when we were finishing deserts.

Wonderful food, nice quaint atmosphere

Came here for the first time. Food was delicious. We picked from the pre set $29 menu. The crab cake was full of lump crab meat and the burrata was creamy. The short rib meat was tender and the pork chop was cooked just right. Both the creme brûlée and vanilla flan ended the meal on a sweet note.

Nice atmosphere and wait staffs. Food also up to par for Asian fusion dishes.

One of the best French restaurant around the area.

I'd always heard great things about sesame grill, so jumped at chance to have lunch there. Odd decor and slightly cramped, but the food was amazing. Large portions, well prepared. I had salmon and shrimp in tomato cream sauce. Delicious! Fish super fresh. Friends had salads and really enjoyed them . I would definitely go there again!

I've been here around 5 times with a span of a year or more between visits and the food never disappoints! Always so yummy! I leave feeling satisfied and sad I don't live closer to this place. You wouldn't think such a place exists in this heavily trafficked strip mall. FYI, parking sucks!!

Good for "L A. Dining" week special for the saving on good food deals (appetizer, main course and dessert as of a prix-fixe menu), or its very expansive paying $20 or more on a 3-course menu!

We had a great experience in this spot. We liked the extraordinary vibes and the food. The staff members were very welcoming. I am glad we eventually managed to visit this spot.

I've eaten here a dozen times. Never once had a bad meal. Never once had anything but top notch service. Good selection of wines or let your server suggest one for you. The deserts are killer too. I usually just get the specials and am very pleased. The owner goes out of her way for you too.Tip, eat early and save money. I should add, the entrees look small portioned, they are not. They are rich and will fully sate you. If you are a big eater (fat) order a desert.FYI. I would call this a fusion of French and Hong Kong, not Californian. But American all the way. Eat here, you won't be disappointed.

Been there during DINE WEEK LA. This is a fusion restaurant, with fresh seafood. Love the seafood pasta there. It’s mild and fresh. Not creamy at all.

We were very disappointed in the change in one of our favorite restaurants. They have changed the cozy, welcoming decor to that of a cold fish shack. Gone are the comfy booths and pleasant atmosphere. These have been replaced by hard chairs, ugly metal tables, and fish paraphernalia on the wall. It took a long time to get a drink and had to ask for a second round twice. And then the food...gone is the lovely menu of fresh baked bread, artfully plated dishes of fish, lamb, and beef. Now the menu consists of fish and terrible sides of coleslaw, cold corn on the cob, and bagged salad. Two of our meals came to the table first and it took 10 min. for the other two to arrive. I have only two words to say about the changes to Sesame Grill...don't go.

Whether you're dining in for lunch or dinner, the food & service are always consistently great. The ambience is casual & classy. Their DineLA like lunch & dinner are also great deals. We have had casual lunches & dinners and have never been disappointed.

Good food and Good prices. The staff were excellent, great service. I loved the burratta, 36 hr braised short rib, and bone marrow. I'd come back again to try the new York steak.

Love this place! Their clam linguine is TO DIE FOR, OMG! <3 Try it, you will not be disappointed! Same for the orange creme brule, it is SO SO SO SO good! Just ate there last night, wish I could go every nite lol!! Also, the servers are awesome, so friendly, and like in a real way, like as if it's not even for the tips, which I'm sure it is too, but still, they don't make it feel like it is, which is great. Anyway, check it out. Can't wait to go when I'm 21 and can try out their 'adult bevereages' looolll!! :D
